  1. Best answer
    yes, you can.
  2. 550W will cut it close. Yes, you can overclock CPU and GPU on this PSU.
  3. You will probably need a custom cooler though. Else go to a 8320.

Some M5a97's are better than others eg the evo pro is better than the r2.0 or le r2.0. The le r2.0 you definitely need a cooler as it doesn't have a heatsinked vrm
  4. Wow ..thanks...
so without overclock...can i add extra cabinet fans ? will it cut it close if I overclock and add fans ?
I have a 2 4GB 1333 mhz on the board..so I m really worried if it completely takes up the power wattage i have.
  5. Yes you can add fans. They don't draw too much power. If you can specify the exact model of the fan then its power consumption can be checked.
  6. This is the fan model Cooler Master R4-S2S-124K-GP
  7. Don't use these fans as their CFM is just 44.7. Check the fans with high CFM and low db or dbA level.
  8. Oh okay....can u suggest any good 120 mm fans?
  9. Try Corsair AF series fans or Noctua's NF-A14/15 or cooler master sickle flow series fans
