Hello I'm looking for a wilderness survival game that has ok or better graphics that involves hunting, eating, drinking, finding shelter, etc. but it needs to be realistic and also no horror recomendations, so the graphics need to be better than minecraft so not blocks or stuff like that. I have played Unreal World and thats kinda what im looking for but not turn based also i want it to be free roam and if it is cool enough for trees to fall over when you chop them for wood that would be great. So Rust mixed with Unreal World but there shouldnt be structures all over the place like Rust. So you can make rifles and stuff maybe but it's not just full of them in every bit of land and no mutant stuff like Rust either. If you can please leave recomendations onto what im looking for that would be great. Thanks for your consideration and time.

I know you said no horror games, but I believe the forest is releasing a passive mode with no enemies or anything for their game soon? That has good mechanics and graffics and feels very bear grylls-ey. No real rifle crafting but just a suggestion.

That is helpful thank you also no rifles is okay, they make the games too easy.

Day One: Garry's Incident looks pretty much like that. The game itself is not very well reviewed, so play at your own risk. I haven't personally played it, I just bought it on sale in case I'm bored someday. Check out the Steam page for details and images, I suppose.

I've played Miasmata, which has some of what you're looking for, but it's not a perfect fit. There's no hunting, for one thing. You do need water and food though, and you need to find plants and herbs to make medicines if you get sick. It's free roam and has a momentum system so your character accelerates and can trip realistically sprinting down rocky hills. The goal is to avoid and/or defend yourself against a lone creature roaming the island, while collecting and experimenting with plants to try to cure yourself from a plague. Keep in mind, Miasmata is good for an indie game and it's complete (not a beta or early access), but it was still only made by 2 people so it's not very polished. You may want to check out the Steam page of that as well.

There are mods for Skyrim that improve hunting, add the need to eat/drink/sleep, and other survival stuff. It's not entirely dedicated to that though, so your results may be limited.

The Stomping Land is in early access on Steam, but it looks promising. You need to eat, and hunt dinosaurs, and it's free roam. You can set traps for them and stuff. I haven't played this game either yet since I'm waiting for my next paycheck, so I don't know how good it really is.

If you're going to go the Minecraft route (personally I think the forest is more immersiv) then you should use sonic ethers amazing shader pack. Provided you have a decent graphics card it makes Minecraft so much more appealing, with really light water and wind appearances. It's very cool and worth a try. You can always turn Minecraft on peaceful and play hard core survival that way, or if you want even more of a challenge do that on a pretty made survival island map. I hear they're good fun.

As i said i have tried Miasmata, its ok however its sad that you dont need to eat and the thing i hate about it is you cant attack the creature. As for skyrim i have been trying to get it on my pc every time i try to download it, it doesnt work. And The Stomping Lands is in early delvelopment so it isnt very fun right now, it is susposed to be done in 2015. However it is ok, Thank you for your suggestions
