Dell Windows 7 Pro COA license on Medion PC

Hi, I recently bought a new computer for my mum that came with Windows 8.1 - she hates it! I'm looking to 'downgrade' her to windows 7 and have found a listing on ebay selling a Dell Windows 7 Pro COA license. I'm wondering whether this license would work on a Medion PC as I know that Dell licnses are tied to Dell pc's?

First you need to find out if Medion has released any Windows 7 drivers for that PC model, so check their website.
If they have no Win7 drivers for it, it's pointless downgrading to Windows 7.

I have no idea if a Dell disc will work on a non-Dell PC, but be careful buying on Ebay. The disc may be a pirate copy with a blacklisted key which won't be accepted when you try to activate, there are dozens of those floating around on Ebay and other such sites. It's safer to buy Windows from trusted sources.
