toshiba l850/0c9 upgrade to 3940xm?

hello all,

i have the toshiba l850/0c9 and i was wondering if its possible to upgrade from a i7-3610qm 45w to the i7-3940xm. i know they will physically fit but will it work, im not consern about the heat i just want to know can i do it?

Ita a matter of does the bios support it, so Toshiba are the guys that can tell you. Also consider you really need to know what your doing dismantling a laptop to that degree (or at least be extremely careful).
