I have created this build for me personally. I will be using it to play video games (wide range) and school work.

My budget is £500 but as you can see it is over by £13

Is there anyway I can save £13 on this build and still get the full potential of the build.

If theres anything else you need to know please ask.

More about : build good improve

Not much you can do with £500. It's an alright build, nothing I would change, except for the budget! You should be able to play everything on medium-high settings.

The R9 270X is slightly weaker but really only 1-5 fps difference.
You need a better quality motherboard.
Swapped to a better quality and cheaper power supply.
Another choice is having a cpu cooler with a corsair 200R case. The phantom 240 doesn't work with the cooler.

+1 to the above. I personally think at that price the 270X makes more sense, and agreed the PSU as above is a safer bet imo.

This gpu is pretty high end. (R9 280x=7970ghz>760>270x)
A gold certified psu and a cool case ;)

MSI 970A-G46 ATX is only good for FX 4100 cpus. You don't want to run a FX 6300 on that motherboard. Also MSI motherboard aren't great with AMD motherboards.

I think your build is pretty good. not to improve it but to save money maybe a smaller power supply 650W is overkill maybe you could find 450-500W for cheaper.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx...

That will save you the 20 pounds you needed and it's modular.

The CX uses poor capacitors. Go with a Seasonic 520W PSU or an XFX 550W PSU.

I wanted to get 650w PSU because in the future I am thinking of SLI/Crossfire
