i7 4770k max temp?

Hello, I'm wondering if the max temp on my CPU is ok. After playing far cry 3 for 1~2 hours, my temps went up to:

Core #0 - Max 75 Degrees.
Core #1 - Max 76 Degrees.
Core #2 - Max 77 Degrees.
Core #3 - Max 70 Degrees.

My temp is mostly around 70~73 degrees. I'm using the stock fan. I just want to know if these max temps are save and wont cause any throttling.

i can just say that i don't think you should let it go up to 80 Degrees, Haswell is a pretty hot cpu, and they're still using this old stock cooler for it.
It should be fine and not break down or anything for staying ~77 max, but a CM Hyper 212 EVO would be a good upgrade for you i think, it's very good for it's price:

Temps would be below 60 Degrees with this. :)

official is 72.72, though trottling occurs at much higher temps the temps you have is a risk for length of life of the CPU. You should try and replace the termal paste or get yourself a much better heatsink say Noctua D-14.
