I have tried every solution that I can find to fix this problem but none of them work.

Every time I try to open an application such as origin, adobe reader ect.. I keep getting "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)"

I've tried:
-replacing the DLLs
-Reinstalling C++
-Restoring pc to earlier point
-Cleaning the registry
-Performing a scan of the HDD
-Using a 'fix' I found on the internet

Please help I've been trying to fix this problem for the last few weeks with no success.
Thanks

Yes I replaced the DLLs in safe mode and it didn't work
I ran sfc /scannow and got the message "windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations"

I have tried this and still didn't work

I did find a solution that says to copy mfc100.dll, mfc100u.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcp100.dll and msvcr100_clr0400.dll to system 32 however it will not let me copy msvcr100.dll & msvcp100.dll it says I need permission even though I have administrator rights and opened windows explorer as administrator?

I may be wrong but I don't think a guy should be needing to get that deep into core windows and change .dll files like that. where are you getting these files from, .dll dough . com??

I've tried:
-replacing the DLLs
-Reinstalling C++
-Restoring pc to earlier point
-Cleaning the registry
-Performing a scan of the HDD
-Using a 'fix' I found on the internet

I don't see removing and reinstalling those programs that have the issues and checking to see if its got corrupted writing to the drive or during downloading and did you save the downloads to a file then check them then install or did you just hit run ?

its odd that adobe reader don't work I find that the most interesting

what was the last program you installed before this came up?? you may have just removed them and started fresh??

sure looks like you got a mess on your hands

Already tried it didn't work, how can I manually get msvcr100.dll & msvcp100.dll into system32 if it keeps saying i require permission?
The fix I found said this:

error message may occur on 64 bit operating systems when the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package is not properly configured.

You can find below the procedure for replacing the corrupted /misconfigured Windows files which should solve the issue you are dealing with:

Click here to download the archive and decompress it to reveal the correct Windows files. The archived contains 5 files: mfc100.dll, mfc100u.dll, msvcr100.dll, msvcp100.dll and msvcr100_clr0400.dll
Please save these files to any location on your PC;
Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode
Access C:WindowsSystem32;
Locate the 5 files you have downloaded and extracted;
Next, copy all those files to C:WindowsSystem32 replacing the current ones;
Reboot your computer

I have done this but it will not let me copy msvcr100.dll & msvcp100.dll

This is the website I used with the dlls: http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-solve-error-message-%D0%91%E2%94%80%C2%B0the-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-%280x000007b%29-click-ok-to-close-the-application%D0%91%E2%94%80%C2%B2-1106.html

I've tried reinstalling the programs but I still get the same error. I used to be able to run these programs fine but now they just won't open.

I'm thinking of backing up my files and performing a clean install of windows will that fix this problem?

Can you Start > Run > type eventvwr and click Enter/OK. On the left panel expand Windows Logs > Applications/Systems and investigate further.
Re-install DirectX see if it helps. Also, as kenrivers suggested do chkdsk /r

First of all click start and type in run than hit enter on your keyboard.
Type in “msconfig” in the run dialog box
The system configuration box should pop up, now click the services tab and click enable all in the lower right coner

msvcr100.dll, msvcp100.dll were not part of my copy of windows 7 and were needed but they were part of xp and vista [funny] so I got a old drive with vista on it and copied and pasted the dll's the programs claimed they needed over to 7 [I guess this is microsofts way to insure you buy new stuff and not keep running your good old stuff ] I also got programs that will not load on 7 but I can load them on xp and copy the compleat loaded file from xp and place it in x86 of windows 7 and it works just fine [go figure]

you got to remember Microsoft is not looking out for you just themselves and there policy is take it or leave it
