TV or a monitor for DTA+PC+PS4 combo?

So, I have an old TV/monitor hybrid (best way to explain it). It has 2xSCART and DVI inputs. But now time has come to change it, since I got PS4 recently, and as my screen doesn't have HDMI I can't hook it up. The new panel would need to have slots for DTA (my current one from division has only SCART output), and 2x HDMI for my PC and the PS4. I was looking at monitors, but they don't have SCART anymore so I'd have to purchase a new DTA, which would set me back additional 200€-300€), but some TVs still have 1 slot for it. My main question now becomes this: are TVs good for PC gaming (I play FPS games quite a lot)? Will I suffer from ghosting etc.? What are the main differences with panels that are marketed as TVs as opposed to monitors? I will most likely have room for only one panel so which would be a better investment?

You'll notice that allot of cheaper 'monitors' are offered as 'Full HD' 1920 x 1080p- that's because it's cheaper for manufacturers to utilise the same tech (and in some cases exactly the same panels) for both monitors and TVs. There are dedicated gaming monitors out there, which feature higher refresh rates and resolutions which are ideal for high end gaming, however given you're requirements I think a Full HD TV would be fine, as the panels are usually the same as standard monitors.

The panel I have now maxes out at 1280x1024 so my HD7850 has no problems playing any game on it. I can't seem to find good sub 30" TVs, but Samsung 32" Smart LED-TV UE32F5305 costs 379€, has SCART and 2xHDMI. I can't find the native refresh rate on it, any thoughts on will it be better than average/good for PC gaming since it'll handle console gaming no problem?

It should be fine for PC gaming- the PS4 is essentially a PC anyway (It's build on a custom AMD APU, with 8 'jaguar' cpu cores and an integrated Radeon GPU that sits in-between teh HD7850 and HD7870). Also you're HD7850 should be fine for 1920 x 1080 in games (although you might need to notch the graphics settings down a little so 'High' settings instead of 'Ultra;).
