xbox one controller will be compatible with pc soon. as of yet, it is not though. 360 is of course.

you should be able to get watch dogs running on that pc better than on the xbox one. i finished watchdogs already with my pc on high settings with ultra detail, 1080p, vsync on. that was a considerably better experience than what xbox one is offering.

Xbox is so much more limited, the PC will allow you to do much more.

XBox one controllers now work with PCs: http://www.engadget.com/2014/06/05/xbox-one-controller-...

I'd suggest changing to a Haswell i5, getting a cheaper MB, and dropping to 8GiB of RAM. Use the savings to get a decent CPU cooler and faster GPU.
thanks for the update on the xbox one controller i haven't had enough time to look my self

I appreciate the input on my system config. What is the problem with the Alienware liquid cooling?

Alienware costs too much for what you get, and you're best off getting something like an H100i.

I don't see any liquid cooling on the list...

I'd generally go for a Noctua NH-D14. Closed loop liquid coolers tend to be pricey and loud compared to a good air cooler, until you get up into the really high end.

I find liquid cooling to have its purposes. Most are quieter than similarly priced air cooling with close performance, and rely on the cool air outside of the case, rather than warm air circulating inside. An amazing air cooler will be limited by ventilation in your case, while a liquid cooler pulling air from the outside will run just fine in a case with no fans at all (not that you should do that). If you can find a refurbished Corsair H60 for $30 like I did, it's an amazing deal, as it runs cool and quiet, and a push/pull setup increases the cooling even more.
