Basically since a few days ago my drivers for my GFX card just decided to uninstall themselves, so I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, but when I reinstall them and then restart my PC my PC gets stuck on the windows start up screen.
It's not a virus either as I've used CCleaner, Malware bites, AVG, and everything is clean. It doesn't boot up in safe mode, the only thing I can do when it's stuck is system restore, but it restores to a time I do not have my drivers at. I've also tried taking out the GFX card and putting it back in.

- My VGA cable is still plugged into my GFX card (It's currently saying it's a Standard VGA adapter)
- The GFX card fan still spins
- I don't have the windows 7 disc anymore

I doubt that your graphics card has died unless your motherboard has a backup graphics card or your processor has an in-built graphics card that it is falling back to.
Try removing and re-inserting your graphics card and rehooking all the wires leading to it, then restarting your computer. Graphics card can, over a very long period of time or if not properly seated in the first place, work their way loose due to vibration from the fan on the card.

If that does not solve the issue, try getting a newer version of the drivers that you are trying to install (if there is one) and install that.

@Christopher I've tryed removing and re inserting my GFX card, no luck. I've tried downloading the latest drivers too.

@Neon what do you mean by download drivers in safe mode, how can I do that?
