If you want to overclock a lot, the NH-D14 is a worthwhile cooler to buy.

Check this out: http://www.overclock.net/t/819568/review-noctua-nh-d14-vs-coolermaster-hyper-212

The NH-D14 performs around 10C cooler than the 212 Plus (close enough to the EVO) at load. That is a pretty big difference, and if you want to overclock a lot, definitely, the NH-D14 is your best choice.

The Noctua NH-D14 is widely considered as a phenomenal air cooler.

This thing is HUGE and we need to know what case you have to see if it will fit.

Thanks for the response. I intend on using a corsair carbide series 200R for my build.
In case (ha) it matters, I intend to use an EVGA gtx 760, 8gb of corsair vengeance ram, a 1tb WD caviar blue and a samsung optical drive with this case, all powered by 550 corsair cs550M power supply. I intend to buy two other case fans to help with ventilation. I was thinking arctic cooling pro f12's but if you know better bang for buck case fans please let me know.
Cheers.

In that case (ha), the NH-D14 will fit in your case. http://www.dabs4work.ie/products/noctua-dual-radiator-and-fan-cpu-cooler-multi-socket-73GN.html?q=Noctua%20d14&src=16

Those case fans look like a good deal! There probably are cheaper ones, but as for quality, those look great!

I will most likely go with that, but I have one more question, I hear the CM hyper 212 EVO does the same job. It's also half the price of that Noctua cooler. However as you've said the quality from Noctua is supposed to be unreal. I'm used to getting what you pay for. Does that apply here? Would I be taking a chance with the CM?
