I recently downloaded battlefield 3, as it was free on origin, and afterwards my computer keeps going into this "crash" state. Every time I visit any site that uses shockwave, it crashes. My sound mixer will crash and skype will say that I am offline even though I have internet connection. Everything will slow down and a most of the applications I try to use will crash. This state will not be fixed by restarting the computer, but it will be turning it off at the wall. The crash state will then stop for a couple of hours, then return, again only preventable by a wall-restart.
I am not sure if this has anything to do with the downloading of battlefield 3.
I ran a full AVG virus test and the no threats were found.
Could someone explain to me what is going on?
