Haha title says it all. I was remounting my h100i and i got some thermal on the usb (like actually on the part you stick in). Everything still works corsair link still detects my h100i but the only problem is that the led configuration is kind of messed up. Blue is now really pale blue and max out red is yellow lol etc.. To make the colors go back to normal i have to max out red and blue, and then drop one of them to zero so i can get the original full color. Is there anyway to clean the paste of without ruining the usb?

nah, just use a high percentage alcohol and give it a second to dry before starting it back up
