After doing some reading i'm a little confused on which laptop would be the best in graphic design. AMD A4 series or something that has a designated 2GB just for the graphic's or something with more memory and a large hard drive!

Solution
Here's my build in case others are looking for something for design use:

15.6" Full HD LED-Backlit Display with Matte Finished Surface (1920 x 1080)
Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels for first 30 days of purchasing
Nvidia GeForce GTX 880M GPU with 8GB GDDR5 Video Memory
4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4910MQ Processor ( 8MB L3 Cache, 2.90GHz)
Genuine MS Windows® 8.1 64-Bit Edition
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 2 X 8GB
500GB Samsung 840 EVO Series mSATA3 SSD - as an OS Drive (Primary Drive C)
750GB 7200rpm SATA2 Hard Drive
6X BD-R Blu-ray Burner/8X DVD±R/2.4X +DL Super-Multi Drive & Software
3 Year Warranty & Free Shipping
Approx- $2600.00

I ordered mine through sagernotebook.com because they were willing to give me...

The best would be an Intel laptop with a discrete Nvidia GPU.

APUs are okay for the price they are at, but you can't really do real work with them.

I just ordered a Sager NP8268-S after ruling out the high end Macbook Pro, Lenovo y50 & ThinkPad W540 & Y50P, and the HP ZBook. If you're interested in the specs I'd be happy to share them. My Sager will be arriving later next week and I will post a link to my video review if you're interested in seeing it. This is my first Sager build, and my previous laptops was a Macbook Pro. I ordered from Sagernotebook.com

I teach digital art and design and I use the Adobe Design Suite along with Blender and a few other open source design applications.

Happy laptop shopping.

I ordered mine through sagernotebook.com because they were willing to give me a little discount to bring the cost below the high end Macbook Pro.

Thanks Zircoben! I'm keeping my fingers crossed because this is my first time working with Sager. I was once a die hard Mac fan but I can't justify dropping $3500 on a laptop. I built a Hackintosh in 2012, which is my main desktop but it's a little too tricky to build a laptop to run OSX. I'm sure it can be done but my Hackintosh is the only computer I've ever actually built so it's a little out of my league...Anyway, have you ever used or seen a Sager/Clevo and are you in the design field?

No, actually I use very low end hardware because it's all I need.

I have heard only good about Sager/Clevo . Check out this post: http://www.overclock.net/t/383937/are-sager-laptops-good-quality

People say they are a great value, are reliable, and even overclock well.

Wait - you paid $2600 for it? It looks a LOT cheaper here: http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8268s-clevo-p150sma-p-6987.html

I would cancel your order immediately and buy at the link above.

Thanks for looking out. I almost went through Xoticpc but once I customized the NP8268-S to these specs - it actually comes to about $2645. Its only a few bucks more but I like going directly through Sager instead of a reseller. Xoticpc definitely offers more customization features which I really liked but I just focused on a workstation build and instead compromised the bells whistles.
