Which GTX 780 and is it overkill for me?

Hi I'm currently planning on building a gaming pc for around 1200 pounds ( inc. monitor but exc. periphials) I am stuck on which GTX 780 to buy, the EVGA classified? or the MSI Lightning? I'm a bit more towards the lightning version because it looks so DAMN COOL but i was wondering which one would be better? I plan on having either 1 or 2 monitors which will both be 1920 x 1080. p.s, I will be buying a Asus Maximus IV hero, 8GB Corsair vengeance RAm and a i5 4670k. I've never overclocked before but i would like it if i have the option to do it in the future. I'd just want to play BF4 on ultra and Far Cry 4 when it comes out. any help would be appreciated, thanks :) and also, i posted this before in anotehr forum, so if a mod can delete that one id be very greatful :)

Splendid
Can i ask why you would only have 6gb of ram? For a rig like that you want atleast 8gb. And if you plan to play next gen games a 780 isnt overkill at all. Even a 780 ti cant max crysis 3 at 1080p at 60 fps it only gets around 42

Classified isn't worth the extra money spent, especially for someone who has never overclocked before. Ultimately, every 780 is going to be similar, and you're mostly paying a premium for brand and looks. The aftermarket cooler isn't going to matter if the case you have sucks and has bad air flow. Just be mindful of that.

You can't go wrong with getting an EVGA card, as they have the best customer service. However, if you really like the lightning, it is definitely a good card as well.

Truly, I would make sure to get a 6gb vram card. EVGA definitely makes one now if you're willing to pay for it.

I came across this card but not many people seemed to recommend it so I just assumed that it wasn't as good as the lightning or the calssified :/

Will either of these cards run Battlefield 4 and other future games on ultra with no sweat? Then i may just be a slave to the awesome looks and get the Lightning :D

I'm assuming the Lightning is better as they are both from MSi and the Lightning is more expensive( I know the price may not always reflect the quality but in the tech market you normally do) but they do both look quite good :D
