how do i activate windows 8, I already entered the 25 key when installing

I have already entered the 25 key code during the installation of my windows 8 pro but it is still saying activate windows. Pliz help.

Assuming this a valid non-pirated key - has the PC been online yet? It needs to connect to Microsoft activation servers to activate which will happen automatically when it's connected to the internet
