Do i need cables inside of my gpu?

After installing the my new gtx 770 msi my friend decided to put two cables in the gpu(which i think they are for sli) from the corsair vs 650w do i need those cables or no cause i can't close my case cause of those cables.

Are you talking about the PCI-E power cables? Because those absolutely need to be connected for the GPU to work.

If it is from the power supply, it is the power cables. As mentioned above, they are all need to power your gpu.

that is helpful, make and model? cause it shouldn't block the case from closing.

Oh i though it will be worse nvm im glad that i asked thanks! Now i need to figure it out how to close the damn case or i should get a new one cause of overheating tho
