They're no enhancements in my speaker properties its just blank. My PC isn't very compatible with windows 7 for some reason, won't let me use windows update. I'm currently running windows ultimate.
Is there anyway to fix this? Possible drivers or something?

Hi

Have you installed the recomended audio / sound chip drivers for your PC and W 7 ?
without it you are lucky to get any sound out

Is this Window 7 32 bit or 64 bit ?
(if you have c:\Program Files (x86) you have 64 bit version)

Do you manage to get to Microsofts Windows update site ?
what errors message do you get ?

I am getting sound, sound works fine, I just want to be able to get sound changers, i.e Bass boosts etc.
I'm currently using Windows 7 64-bit ultimate.
When i update via windows update, it'll get stuck at one of the updates can't remember which one, then after a while say it's finished and restarts itself. Once it starts rebooting it comes up with the "Updating windows screen" it'll fail and retry 3 times before using system restore.
Current speaker drivers are:
Realtek semiconductor Corp. 18/10/2011. 6.0.1.6482

Hi

You need to find out which Windows update is failing and block it from installing.
If it is only one Windows or driver update which has problems the others may work

Try turning off auto updates

Do Windows update manually
once you have sorted out problem turn on auto updates again
