Hello, we have a Dell PowerEdge 860. The manual says it's unbuffered ECC PC-3200 memory.
We bought 2 IBM 2GB PC2-5300P (ECC) memories, and in the server there were PC2-5300E memories.
Now the server says there is a memory missconfiguration. But when I replace the PC2-5300P memories with the PC2-5300E ones there is no problem.
Are the memories incompatible?
