My Raidmax Super Viper case currently has 2 case fans, one in the front and one in the rear. I just bought two more 120mm fans that I am going to install on the top mount. Is it better to have them blowing air into the case, out of the case, or one in each direction? My rear fan blows air out of the case, but I am not sure about the front one.

Solution
Front and bottom should be intakes, the top and rear should be exhaust. Try to have a balance of intakes and exhausts. You can make it positive charge by having more intakes than exhausts to reduce dust in the case.

unless you are going to use the 2 new fans to cooler a radiator i would put 1 of them in front. all top fans should exhaust. but 1 intake and 3 exhaust dont work either,
equal intake and exhaust or more intake. could adjust with less rpm on exhaust.

Does the power supply fan at the bottom count as an intake? If so, then my fans are balanced. Either way, I'm getting much better temperatures with the new top fans.
