New motherboard and CPU issues

I have a 250gb ssd and 1000gb hard drive I've just recently brought a new CPU and motherboard and installed everything correctly.

When I turn the PC on and I choose a boot device it just loads and sends me back to the choosing boot devices I have tried reinstalling windows but it just jumps to a whole new drive where I don't have any of my stuff please help I'm a noob.

PLEASE HELP

R9 290
750w
Z87-k
250gb SSD
8gb ram

if you are trying to boot up windows 7 from the same drive and you've changed your motherboard i'm afraid it' won't work and you'll need to reinstall the OS

Windows 8 will boot with new hardware but windows 7 and prior OS's will not boot with drastically changed hardware.....
You'll need to boot to an installation DVD in this case.....
