Hi i have a dell precision t3400 and i was wondering if i should upgrade this pc here is my current specs:

cpu: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz

ram: 8gb of ddr2 667mhz

gpu: NVIDIA Quadro FX 1700

psu:375 watts

i was wondering if this was worth upgrading if it is , is a core 2 quad q6600 a good choice and what will be a good choice for a gpu?And i will also game but only games like minecraft and i wanted a gpu that can max it out.
Thank you

In my opinion its not worth it and minecraft will be under 30fps if you do upgrade

It might be worth it, if you can get the q6600 for a good price. I think they are around $40 on ebay. The video card is a safe bet either way because you can always move that to a new system when you can afford a new system.

You don't need to upgrade your PSU. Yours has either 32 or 34A on the 12v rails which is plenty.
