I have about $200 to spend on a monitor [not including tax or shipping] but that's the most I want to spend on a monitor. I have a 32" Toshiba LCD TV and its great, its just too big to use as a monitor. I've decided that I wanted a 24" monitor. Speakers are optional since I have a set of 2.1 Logitech speakers though I plan on getting a set of 5.1 speakers [either the A550 from creative or Z506 from Logitech but that's off topic] I found a nice Asus monitor for $179.99 but I'd like to know if there's better options. Asus is a pretty good brand but I think I've seen some LG monitors at that price range and I heard from a friend that BenQ isn't too bad a brand.

The one you linked is really nice for the price.

i suggest these. if you are a dedicated gamer the first is a better option! else the second ips would fit best!

Monitor: BenQ RL2455HM 60Hz 24.0" Monitor ($179.99 @ Amazon)
Monitor: Asus VN248H-P 23.8" Monitor ($187.58 @ Newegg)
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Its a 32C110U. It only goes upto 720p yet when I have my xbox connected through HDMI it defaults to 1080p, if that makes any sense. Still, its great for watching TV and movies and other TV related things. No so great as a monitor though, at least in my opinion.
