Hello there,

I just changed my card from GTX 770 4GB Windforce to Sapphire TRI-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 OC as most people said its worth it!

Note: Both of 'em priced same from where Ive bought!

So my question is: Is my GPU well enough to play all games in Ultra? For how long would that be? Probably 3-4 years onwards?

My other Rig:
CPU: i7 4770k
Mobo: G1.Sniper B5
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vegance 1600mhz
PSU: Thermaltake Modular 850 Watt
Resolution: 1920 x 1080p

Solution

Yes, the 290 outperforms the 770.

the GTX 770 4gb is a great card but with out you adding 2 so 2 gtx 770s in sli, you would most likely only get 50-60 fps with 1 card. for the next year, 2 is pushing it a bit
