The two systems posted below are slightly different. One is an APU and the other CPU based. I am building a computer for my significant other. The build needs to be rock solid and reliable. I would like play Battle Field 4 at 60 FPS if possible for less that $900 at medium to high settings. I will be interested in overclocking. I'm very interested in APU's. I would like them to be a viable option in the future for more people. That being said, I need performance. Also, I will be purchasing the rig within the week. Any and all feedback will be much appreciated.

Please feel free to post your own builds or suggest different components, but please provide reason for my sanity.

Solution
The second build is by far a better one, you should play BF4 at mid settings @ 60 fps.

But honestly do you really need 16GB of ram? With 8GB you would be able to buy a much more capable 280X, to stick with AMD.

Otherwise the build seems pretty good, mostly widely known parts.

Cheers
