So my question is should I sli the gtx 770 or get a gtx 780? I could possibly squeeze out some extra cash for the 780ti but would like to keep it in the £350-£400 mark. I've ordered the gtx 770 but i come along some extra cash from doing a job. I can return the gtx 770 so was wondering If anyone knew if the gtx 770 2gb sli is better than a gtx 780 or 780ti?

what resolution? If 1080p, is the 770 limiting performance? If greater than 1080p, eg. 3 monitors, 770sli could be limited by only having 2GB Vram.

SLI, although not very buggy, its still not as good as one card reliability wise. Some games wont utilize SLI as well. Therefor you wont get the full performance of both cards. I would go for the 780Ti. One card, almost as strong as 770's SLI. Less issues and games will utilize the whole card. Plus it is just easier to manage.

Even games that manage multi-GPU setups might still not be as powerful as a single 780ti, and possibly later on, 780TI SLI.

But also considering that watchdogs requires 3gb VRAM for ultra settings.. Wanted to make it long term proof too. All these new gen games are becoming VRAM hungry and wanted to know I'd be able to run watchdogs on ultra If i had both GTX 770's. Not only just watchdogs but future games too that are going to be VRAM hungry.

Also I have a 750w PSU, would that be enough for 780ti SLI in the future? Or will i have to change my psu couple years down the line when i want to upgrade?

I will be getting a new monitor but it will be at 1080p, I think I might just return this GTX 770 and get a 780ti cause I can't even run watchdogs on full spec with the gtx 770, would be waste of money if all of a sudden new gen games demand 3gb VRAM for ultra settings.

SLI currently doesn't work in Watch Dogs, so it would be limited to one 770. And yeah, 2GB VRAM is really going more insufficient.

750W PSU is enough for GTX 780. The power draw from GTX780 is 250W, the GTX770 is 230W, so 2x230W=460W. Both types aren't going over the PSU requirement.
