I'm moving into a new place where I'll have Comcast internet (50 down, 25 up) and I don't want to rent one of their crappy modem/router combos so I'm going to buy my own modem and router. This isn't an area I have a ton of experience in (I'm more of a builder) so I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently looking at getting the Motorola SB6121and the ASUS RT-N56U to go with it. Thoughts, opinions and suggestions are all welcome. I'd also like to stay roughly in that price range.

Thanks in advance!

You won't be wrong with this combo. We are running similar setup (but with RT-N66) feeding an office with 20+ PCs, and about 10 VOIPs, without any problems.

Make sure you have the modem ready when you install the service, you will save yourself an hour on the phone activating the new modem and a trip to Comcast store.
