I have checked all wiring is correct and everything is plugged in.

It's really weird as I was playing a game before and all of a sudden the computer shuts down and will then not boot ?

You can download the motherboard manual (from the motherboard manufacturer website) for specific instructions on clearing the CMOS and reflashing the BIOS.

It may be a matter of a jumper, a button, or pulling the motherboard coin battery.
Do you have access to a case speaker? They provide a lot of useful information when diagnosing motherboard problems.

pull battery and usually depending on motherboard manufacture close to the area of the battery will be 2-3 pins should see "clr CMOS" on board next to them, I don't know if you have a jumper cap? if not just get a piece of wire/metal something conductive lol or something wrap around for 10-15 seconds it will reset.... what motherboard do you have?
