I found what seems like a good computer with the parts list compiled by Austin that video came out today austinnotduncan.com/builds/photon. I am using a 1440x900 resulution monitor so I am thinking this computer should last. Here's the problem, my internet is EXTREMELY slow and it takes LOTS of time to download games that I own on steam also I have many programs that would be hard for me to recall to re-download. So can I directly plug in my old hard drive into my new computer, or do I need to transfer the files. I do own a hard drive enclosure so I could transfer the files ,but i'm tight on money right now so I don't want to spend money on another full drive, but I will if I have to. Thanks for the help!

Solution
1- For the steam games, it is possible to swap game library from a drive to another. Check this link :https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129

2- You could connect your old hard drive to your new motherboard using SATA III 6Gb/s cable (like this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812270093&cm_re=sata_III_cable-_-12-270-093-_-Product) and use this drive as a game partition. Or you could transfer the games on your new drive if you want to keep the old one on the old computer.
