Hey guys I've been having a little debate on myself over the traditional *Fan* cooling and the liquid cooling methods on my future Gaming rig. The internals for my build are:
CPU - Intel Core I7 - 4770k 3.5GHz
GPU - Nvidia Palit GTX 750ti StormX dual 2GB edition
PSU - Cougar RS** *i forgot the whole name* 650watts 80+ (if i should get higher wattage tell me.)
Casing - Cooler master Storm Stryker full tower
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM DDR3 32mb Cache
RAM - Kingston 2x4 1600 RPM DDR3 w/ Heat spreader
Motherboard - Asus Z87 - Pro
Cooler - *here comes the cooler debate* Cooler master Hyper 212 Evo Fan/ Corsair H100i 77.0CFM liquid.

If you're going to ask me why am i confused on getting aftermarket fans or liquid coolers is that, i'll be using Nvidia's GPU Boost 2.0 for better performance in gaming and i also don't wanna destroy my computer to smithereens by overclocking it abit due to higher temps and higher voltage consumption.
Thanks.
PS - Yeah i was supposed to be getting one of 780 series but i seem to check the Philippine stores that i am going to buy from *because i live in the PH* and it's arround 22k price range.

Solution
there are pros and cons in each solution.
with a wattercooler you will get a nice cooking build.
the pros good cooling.
cons a case that can fit the radiator and power consumption.and over time because of moving parts a pump might fail.
air cooling
pros in modern high quality air coolers they can even out preform a watercooler.
and nearly minimal power consumption campared to a liquid cooler.no moving parts on the cooler so it wont fail.
cons if you have high profile rams it might not fit and you will get a huge chuck of mettal fins right on top of the cpu.
does not look that nice then compared to a wattercooler.
for air cooling i would recomend a noctua dh14 if you want to overclock to the max and achive temps like a wattercooler or...

dude seriously you should watercool the processor if you have the money to buy that kind of processor, ithink with the amount of hjorse power that the 4770k is giving you, ithink its fair enough to reward it with a water cooling solution. if you dont prefer water cooling i would suggest you to get a cooler master v8 gts its so damn good it beats other h2o solution. and mind you v8 gts is a monter 10/10 with the looks. btw you mentioned that you live in the phil i believe its a humid country so it would be wise to get an aftermarket cooler youll benefit from it in the long
run

there are even more advanced wattercooling solutions that you can put everything on the loop but come at a price.
