AMD FX-Series X8 9590 or intel i5 4670k 3.4ghz

Solution
theyre somewhere around equal *before* overclocking. after overclocking the 4670k wins out in gaming. it is also considerably cheaper, uses way less power/produces much less heat

as for "future gaming" watch dogs was supposed to be a big win for 8 core amd processors... it wasnt.

It's a matter of prefeerence, in gaming both of them are about the same. Like I said it's preference (e.g. because I like Intel Ill choose intel)

It's up to what you want, Intel would be better at video editing and rendering but AMD is much cheaper (depending)

Both of them are about the same in gaming performance, you won't even notice.

Although the 9590 seems to run hot. The Intel one is better but for the price?

Just looked it up, where I am the 4670k is actually cheaper than the AMD 9590. Go for the Intel one ;)

cheaper and better, it's fine without overclocking but overclock it if you like.

Yes, with that cpu you'll most likely be gpu bottlenecked first. Watch dogs right now is highly un-optimised for most pc systems so you'll have to wait until they fix that.

Watchdogs recommends a gtx 660 or AMD 7850, But my friends with a 7950/760 cannot run it at max because of bad optimisation.

20000 rs = to about 363 dollars AUS dollars.

Look for a gtx 770 or 760 for the price.
If you like AMD look for a r9 280x or r9 280.

If you want to save a bit of that price look for the r9 270x. It will max out most games at 1080p and is great for the price.

Your screen resolution is 1080p right?
