in 1 tb i installed 8.1 ,os windows 7 in 37 gb .while starting my pc error called (an operating system wasn't found.try disconnecting.only driver they don't contain an operating system y press ctrl+alt+del) but i'll press f11 will restart and asks drive to select while selecting 1 tb it won't works but in 31 gb it works what will be the reason . why 1 tb is not getting booted by starting stage it's acting like a simple driive that i can copy paste and have . why 1 tb is not booting without an other hard disk (37 gb)

Did you install with both drives installed? It probably saw the Win 7 install, and added the Win 8 install(to the boot partition of the Win 7 drive) as a second(dual boot os). If you boot to the other drive, does it give you a choice to start Windows 7 or Windows 8?

windows 7 and windows 8 both choices will be there but i am not able to install windows 8 or 7 as standalone to 1tb , thats the reason i am using this 37gb , and without 37 ,,, 1tb hardisk wont work as standalone

In order to get it to work as a stand-alone drive is to install it with it being a stand-alone drive. Take the other drive out(unplug it), then install Windows 8 to the 1TB drive. Then you can pick which drive to load in bios.
