I currently have 2x4 gb Corsair Vengeance memory at 9-9-9-24 timings at 1600. I'm currently starved for VRAM in some games because of playing at a high resolution and it causes major slowdowns.
Theoretically, would getting a higher clocked RAM with better timings improve situations where I am starved for VRAM? Do these things even have a correlation? If this is correct, what RAM would you recommend? My motherboard supports up to 3000 mhz ram.
