So i got this card lately and i want to know your opinions about it. Pros and cons.

What I have is sapphire r9 280x vapor x tri x oc boost. (The one that have 3 fans)
Is it better than the normal vapor x?

tell me about its temp, performance, noise and etc.

Whats its healthy temp to run.

And also what are programs that detect gpu temps? Sorry complete noob.

Solution
Is this the Tri fanned Vapour-X?

This is a great review for that card, lists almost everything you asked;

ideally you want to keep your GPU under 80c, though AMD cards don’t start throttling until around 90c, but that doesn’t mean you want your card there all the time. You can get CPUID HWMonitor to check your temps when gaming.

I got this card last month, i never pushed it much (i play Mechwarrior online at high) but it usually wont go over 60 degres Celcius on stock configuration (so there's a lot of room for OC). It was my first build too so i can't compare the noise vs other cards though.

YES it is better than the standard vapor-x since the heatsink on this one is a beast. Because of this the card is a lot bigger about 395mm long. Theoricaly, the three fan's should be louder than two fans since they are smaller (needs higher RPM) but i can't say for sure.

About its safe temp, i dont know. However, read on this forum that GPU temps could go really high and still be safe at 90 degrees. Don't over do it though. Personnally i wouldn't go over 85 degrees.

About programs to check GPU temps, you can see it on the catalyst center. You can also check them with ''Speedfan''.

A good software that im planning to install if you're interested is Tri-x: https://www.sapphireselectclub.com/ssc/TriXX/
This software made by sapphire lets you control the fans, OC and monitor temperatures on your vapor-x card. I think you have to register your GPU on their site if you want to download it.
