I have the afterburner tho but 80% fans.. i love my gpu and it's the best component that i've bough.Otherwise wouldn't it screw itself at 80% fan speed?

paste and heatsink for the cpu?
Might as well repaste both.
If you havent ever replaced the thermal paste on them, that is.
Hm so right now am bit of a broke what should i get first corsair 300r or thermal paste and heatsink for the i5 3350p?
Id just try new paste for now, dont stretch your wallet thin!
Small cases and stock heatsinks arent ideal, but they shouldnt get hot enough to cause problems if your case has some airflow and your heatsinks arent clogged/badly pasted.

Denis, if you put your fan on Auto, what temperature do you reach when gaming? How fast are your fans spinning? We have an epidemic on these forums of people thinking 70c is too high and taking unnecessary drastic actions. Your card is designed to target 82c for reference.
My max c was 79 oh i need to upload some pics but idk how and my camera is low pixeled but il try later!

79 degree's on a GPU is not too bad, a GPU is good up to 95 degree's
but at the same time your card should NOT always run at 79' either.
are you saying that no matter what you are doing on the PC the GPU is at 79?

Turbo Boost works by targeting a specific temperature. For the GTX 770, that is 82c. You can verify your Temp Target in Afterburner. Your card will increase its Turbo Boost clocks until it hits that temperature. When it reaches 82c it will begin to lower the Turbo Boost and increase fan speeds in order to maintain that temperature.
So in actuality your card should run at 82c ... all the time. The question is how fast do the fans need to run to maintain that temperature? If it's 100% then there's something wrong. If your temps are below that, then you have good cooling, low ambient temps, and/or your game is not very demanding.
Now some guys are spoiled with custom coolers on their cards and high airflow cases, and they will rarely if ever see 82c, but their cards still default to that 82c Temp Target. But you haven:t even mentioned whether your card is a custom or reference model.
So, bottom line, its a combination of temps well over the mid-80c's, with high fan speeds to compensate, that would indicate there's a problem.
