DVD READER HELP plz!!!!

Hi guys recently my dvd reader keeps freezing when placing a empty disc in it or Sometimes full one.
I just reinstalled windows and it still freezes I really need help fast please...

The readers are cheap, you can get them for $20, if it is a hardware issue you are having I would just replace it.

So its faulty? It could read a disc made from other laptop. but old not new discs it cant weird.i may not have enough budget bec.i am buying the r9 270x soon

Yes, it sounds like the drive is faulty.
