I recently have been playing minecraft and have downloaded some mods. Later that day I went to go on chrome, but I couldn't connect to the internet, and I noticed that I had a notification next to the WiFi symbol. I looked at the WiFi I was connected to and it said limited under it. I went on google on my phone and looked up ways to fix it, but I couldn't find a way that worked.
Please help!

In the past, every time my network said limited, it was a problem outside the computer.

Try unplugging your modem/router for at least 10 seconds and plugging it back in.
Try using an ethernet cable to directly connect your computer to the modem/router.
Check to see if other devices can connect to the same network (phones, tablets, other computers, etc).

If none of this works, the problem probably has to do with your Internet Service provider. If you don't pay the internet bill, they cut your connection; your network gets labeled as limited when this happens. Call your provider to see what's up.

Good Luck :)

I'm sure you've already tried this, but did you reset your modem/router to see if that was an issue? Also is your computer a laptop or desktop?

If it's a laptop, try connecting it directly to your modem with an ethernet cable and see if it still says limited.
