Hello,
I bought a new PC about 3 months ago and I started to notice my GPU temps are getting higher over time. I have Asus gtx 780 with DCIIOC cooler sitting in HAF X case with Demciflex filters.
At first I didn't see GPU temps go over 60 degrees in BF4, right now it goes up to 68. Reached 70 degrees in Guild Wars 2 today.

The card is NOT overclocked, default fan settings.

I wonder if temps like these are normal? Doesn't seem so when I check reviews. I am getting worried.

when is the last time you cleaned your PC and gpu fans for dust?

They are within your GPU's thermals limits I would imagine. GPUs generally run hotter than CPUs.

Check if there's dust onthe GPU heatsink or not.

His concern seems to be that his gpu went up in temp from what it was
so i think he needs a good dusting

the gpu temp may vary depending on room temps, game patches and different games, even on how many players in a multiplayer game.
80c is perfectly ok. but pretty normal to not have seen 80 in a year because of seasons, dust buildup or played other games.

Being summer time, it could be the ambient temperatures raising your PC's temps.

But regardless, 60-80C is about right for a GPU. The thermal limit for most GPUs are 92C, I believe, but you'll want to stay around the 60-80C range.

Thanks all for quick answers. I have cleaned the interior of my case 1-2 months ago + I am using Demciflex dust filters on all intakes (cleaning them every 2-3 weeks). Still, I was going to add BR reader this weekend so I'll also do some dusting inside and see if it helps.

the gtx will run as hot as you want to let it it is fine up to like 90 but most dont like that you can set it to not go over a certain temp i have mine set at 79 which is rarely every gotten to.
