I have had four issues with this MoBo so far. The first two I have 'solved'.
1) Top gold pci express x16 slot is inset too far and won't screw in w/out unseating.
rigged
2) pin in 1150 cpu slot was spun backward.
painstakingly found pin and spun it back.

The second two issues have been more illusive and are things I haven't experienced before, and I have not found the solutions.

3) bios clock will not stay accurate.

4) cpu fan speed is often too low on startup, but then always is fine after reboot.

please tell me what all this deeply philosophical information means!! :pt1cable:

Thanks for the link. They do have the solution there: Reset the CMOS. Duh, why didn't I think of that... GOSH!!

It solved the Clock issue for now, however I have no idea if the fan issue is fixed. I will wait a few days and post how it goes.

Date and Time have remained correct. However, the cpu fan speed continues to be low every couple of boots. This morning the RAM xmp mode was oddly off as well. The pc starts up and makes 3 beeps then says I have to go to setup because of CPU fan speed being too low. I go and then just exit and restart and it boots fine.

This morning I also turned xmp back on. I have noticed that the CPU fan speed does remain a little low even after the reboot.
