Hi, I'm about to buy parts for my first build. It is a budget gaming build and I'd like to compare to PSUs that I'd like to either buy.
Is the Corsair CX500 good enough for my build, I know the XFX is better quality but is really that worth it. The XFX will cost some more and be shipped :(.

The GTX 750ti doesn't use much power, that EVGA version is 80W, so you'd easily be fine with the CX500W (the newest version of this PSU should have 38amps/456w on the 12v rail). If i was buying it for myself, i'd choose the better quality in the XFX 550W (SeaSonic OEM). The XFX should last longer due to better quality components, and the added amps on the 12v rail would make life easier if you wanted to upgrade to a more beefy GPU in future.

The components inside them e.g the quality of the capacitors, so when they get hot, better quality capacitors can withstand it better over time & last longer.
