OP: No you can't and shouldn't update anything here, this is a full replacement PC is your best solution. The Mobo only supports Gen3 iCores, while the current market is Gen4, which just did a refresh of the product line (iX-49xx instead of iX-47xx for example). The GPU is too underperforming for any modern games. The PSU would need to be updates to power any current PSUs. The CPU was for general purposes not Gaming, so it is also tossed. And you didn't even mention what Windows your using? Was this a Dell/Emachine/etc. PC? If so then if your on any Windows OTHER THAN 8, you can't use the OEM Windows on another computer, it will refuse to install/run because it detects the CPU/Mobo is different, so you have to buy a new copy of Windows...

Psu=old intex psu from what i can gather all these parts of your setup i listed needs replaced although your gpu and cpu may be able to scrape by running most games on low settings, for a decent gaming rig you need to spend quite a bit of money im afraid hope this helps......

Just considering Windows alone is $179 off the shelf, and a i3 Desktop or Laptop based PC is only $249, then you can see buying piecemeal is NOT affordable.

Please provide what games your wishing to play, check that budget (28000 what? Rupes? Dollars? Pounds? ), and what expectation levels you expect from the game (triple screen 3096x1080 display Ultra gaphics level always doing 150FPS or better) and we can work on a proper build to meet those expectations. Normally here in the U.S. for 2013+ titles (BF4, WatchDogs, the upcoming new COD:AF or BF5) I would suggest minimally a i7 (I used to say i5 but damn WD is demanding!) for only $529 from www.slickdeals.net, buy a 600W PSU ($90 PCPartsPicker.com) to swap out, then grab a AMD R9 or NVidia 760 (660 won't cut it for WD it seems per some reviews) for around $349-$499 (PCPartsPicker.com check the latest prices), and you be set for any games you want to play with over 60FPS on Ultra Graphics at 1080P (1920x1080) displayes.
