I was looking at a review for the corsair h105 and I saw some kids in the comment section talking about a push/pull configuration with their fans. Is it just something simple such as 1 or 2 intake fans at the front of the case, and one exhaust fan? Or does it involve the watercooler up top? (that is where I am mounting mine)

More about : push pull fan configuration

This has to do with the cooler itself. It has the capability to have 2 fans on it, one pushing air into the cooler, and the other pulling air(the same air the other fan pushed) out of the cooler. This increases the airflow through the cooler and across the fins enabling the cooler to get rid of more heat.

Is the normal setup 2 fans pulling air into the cooler? And would it be better to set the fans up in a push pull fashion?

No. Normal(proper) setup is one fan is pushing air into the cooler, while the other fan is pulling air out of the cooler.
