I've had my computer for about a year and a half, absolutely no problems with it, today it started crashing with an FPS drop when I was trying to help a friend on Star Trek Online, didn't think anything about it. I've tried playing every game I own on PC, it crashes in minutes. The computer shuts off and I get a VGA no signal when i try to reboot unless I some how remove all power from the computer.

Other than that, I have a warranty on the computer that I bought from TigerDirect, should i ship it back? Or is it the PSU? would a PSU problem cause a no signal even when I've turned it back on?

The suspects so far are the PSU, one of the graphics cards or motherboard. Also, did you try updating your graphics drivers? Its kinda a long shot but worth a try.

It might be easier to ship it back for warranty assuming the shipping isn't super expensive.

I tried reinstalling drivers, uninstalled the current AMD stuff, windows took over, then during the install computer still crashes, I assume it's not the drivers then?

Yeah probably not the drivers, did you try the system with one graphics card? If it runs fine on one card but not 2 then it is probably a PSU issue (not being able to supply enough power for both cards). Also, HEC is a bottom tier PSU supplier, their stuff is mediocre quality- one of the reasons I suspect it may be a problem but it may not be.

It crashes on both. I thought so, if the squaretrade warranty claim is approved they'll fix it then, if it's not, I'll buy my own PSU, maybe a GFX card upgrade while I'm at it.
