Hi,

I'm looking for an upgrade to my current graphics card and I also I guess need a new power supply to power this, unless my current power supply is sufficient.

My mobo is a Msi Gaming Z87-G45, Graphics card is a Geforce Evga 760 SC, Intel 4770k is my CPU, and my current power supply is an Ultra Professional LSP 750. I would like a psu that's modular if possible. My current monitor is a Hanspree HD LCD 21.5" with dead pixies.

I don't know if I would need 1 really powerful graphics card or 2 less powerful graphics cards. I want to be able to play current games on maxed out settings and upcoming games on High-Ultra.

About $500 USD for the graphics card.

$120 Monitor

And I'm not sure what a good price is for a PSU so please recommend a good one.

You can get the same performance as a $500 single GPU by adding another 760, and save a lot of money in the process:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Dual Superclocked ACX Video Card ($239.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($94.99 @ NCIX US)
Monitor: Asus VS239H-P 23.0" Monitor ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $474.97
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

All for the price of a graphics card :)

I use a single 760 now and get at least 40+ (usually 50+) FPS in Ultra in every game I play. The lowest I see is an average of 43 in Far Cry 3 with 4x MSAA. Adding a second (generally) gives an average of 75% gain (again, generally speaking) so you would definitely get High/Ultra for a long time at 1080p.
