Looking for a good power supply that doesn't break the bank for my build. The cx750m is 80+ bronze and has been given great ratings by many people and the cs750m had 80+ gold and has been given good reviews by fewer people. Which would be the better one to go for, is it worth a few extra bucks to get the 80+ gold?

There's no reason to push for a gold or silver certification unless you PSU is 900-1000 watts or more .
I wouldn't spend extra money on that.

cx750m is a great choice

According to this list the CS would be slightly better, but I think you can do much better to be honest.

What site are you using to buy from?

I was just looking on pcpartpicker, but newegg or amazon would be good. It would be nice if the power supply is plain black so it matches my build of black and blue.

What are planning to do with 750W first.
I don't consider the Corsair CX and CS series as good power supply. They are mediocre. They uses cheap caps inside and can fail easily under heat or stress, whichever comes first. Sure the reviews on retailers may sound nice but you should actually look at reviewers from power supply testers.
Prioritise quality over the 80 gold rating, modularity and looks. Your power supply is the only thing powering your pc components yet it has the ability to kill all of them.

Unless you plan on running an SLI/Crossfire system, you won't need the 750w anyways. An XFX 550w/650w or Seasonic 620w can do everything you need for a single card setup.

Edit: Go with an EVGA 750w.

Then I'd just go with the m12ii 750w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
It seems to be cheaper than the rest, is modular and is black like you want it to be :)

A 750w is all you need for SLI if you have an intel CPU. An EVGA supernova, Seasonic m12ii or the Rosewill Capstone will all be great PSUs.

Would it be worth it to get a rm or hx 750? Or could I get away with a cheaper one that will be really reliable. The reason I'm saying this is because I'm most likely ordering off of amazon prime cause the free 2 day shipping, and the total cost of some of those psu's listed above is around 115$ and the rm and cx aren't that much more expensive.

Well, you haven't listed your system hardware, so we don't have any idea if 750w is overkill or not enough :p

Edit: Ah I see you added that last part. Well the CX really aren't that good, and the CXM are just the modular version and preform the same. I would stick with any of the ones we have listed until you list your system and would NEVER cheap out on the PSU. It's a tough lesson if it ends up going bad on you.

How does that rm 650 perform in your build?

Its doing ok for now. But i am not pushing it though. Once, the actual unit got really warm that the casing of the power supply could warm my hands for me in the winter during gaming. I estimate 30-40C. Personally i wished i had a better power supply than the RM 650. I should have waited for the XFX XTR 650 W but the price drop of the RM 650 got to me.

Hahaha I didn't mean to pick that as the solution, I'm on my kindle. I was going to say I was thinking about what you guys said about no being cheap with the psu, so maybe I should throw In a little more money for it. How do you think the hx750 would be. The reason I'm picking all these corsair products is because most of my build is corsair so I wanted them to match.

Yes the HX 750 is an excellent quality power supply. That will do.
