So I just built my first PC and I was wondering what i should do to optimize it and make sure everything is running as it should. Also I installed minecraft and it runs ok but for some reason it stutters and still does that dark shading glitch that happens with intel hd graphics anybody know how to fix this?
My Specs:
intel core i5 4570
8bg RAM
XFX R9 280

Latest drivers for your GPU,

Altough Minecraft is more CPU based, so like people said, when downloading it will slow down.
Make sure when you're playing you don't have anything on the background. (Try Gameboost for that)
It should optimize quite a bit. Basically what Gameboost does is close the unnecessary processes for a better game performance.

Hopefully it should help you, there isn't much more that you can do...

the minecraft glitch happens to everyone and the stutter is because it only uses one cpu core for everything, so while loading chunks fps drops, download optifine to solve that. To optimize download advanced systemcare, its a pretty useful program, also you can download other programs from the same company for disk defragmentation or driver updates.
For gaming u just have to either update your drivers, like magical wallaby suggested or change some hardware.
