My build is the following:
Intel i7 4770k CPU /w Cooler Master Seidon 240M CLC
ASUS Maximus VI Hero Motherboard
EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX Cooling 2gb GPU
Samsung 840 SSD 120gbs/WD Black HDD 1tb
Cooler Master M2 720w Silent Pro PSU
Thermaltake Urban s31 Chassis /w CM Jetflo 120 fans.
I'd like to achieve a stable OC @ 4.5 Ghz, with less than 1.3v core. What method should I use to overclock, BIOS or Software? what software to use in the stress tests, temps monitoring?. BIOS Asus optimal settings pumped the cpu to 4.6 Ghz but with a lot of unstabilities. ROG 4-way optimization set it to 4.2 Ghz but the system overall became quite sluggish.
