I added a copy of Windows so that is why the price is above 500 pounds. Drop Windows and you are slightly over 500 Pounds.

I don't really use my pc for gaming at all, the only high intensive stuff I do is video editing, though from what I've heard doesn't need a good GPU. The only games I do play are the internet flash games.

Do you think this GPU will be good enough for watching HD videos, and low intense games?

Budget about £500

The build above is with an AMD GPU that you can run in Dual Graphics mode with your APU. The APU has integrated graphics (R7 ). You will get a lot better performance in dual graphics mode but if you want to save the 100 pounds for the GPU, it is not necessary.

The reason that this is more expensive than cball's build is because I put a i5. THis is more powerful, but more expensive. His is just as good if all you will be doing is internet surfing and some LIGHT gaming(think steam or League of Legends).

Solution

He will most likely need Windows though unless he already owns a non-OEM version.

The weird thing is, I connot find a non-OEM version of windows on PCPARTPICKER for the UK, Not even Win7/8/8.1.
