I don't know when does this start but there is a fast ticking nois in my cpu on boot but when after the boot the noise disappears. sorry for my bad english XD
what should i do guys? ok it's my hard drive XD it sounds like grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but not that loud
Your hard drive is asking that it's time to put it down. I'd suggest backing up your files and soon as possible before your hard drive itself may die on you
CPU's have no moving parts and make no sound, The hard drive, fans and optical drive are the only parts of a PC that make any noise. (ignoring inbuilt speakers etc...)
could be a fan but the fact that it only does it on boot suggests it is a hard drive. fans spin up during gaming pretty hard.
On many of the PC's I built the fans initially spin up on boot then settle down to a much lower speed.
I'm sure he can easily figure it out with the side off. A "fast ticking" noise could be several things really. If it was the hard drive I would have expected it to make noise later on as well when being accessed but it's not impossible that it's quite noisy when loading Windows especially if it's old or defective.
