Hey tom's, I'll try to state my issue as short and precise as possible.

I have recently acquired a new pc (specs listed below). Just yesterday I began experiencing sudden monitor and sound crashes. I've had this happen in Battlefield 4 only so far. Within minutes of play, the screen first goes black, then quickly changes into a random color. Meanwhile, the sound stutters and loops. Ultimately, the system crashes totally and reboots. Otherwise, a forced reboot is necessary.
I am now wondering whether I am dealing with a hardware or software issue and naturally how to fix it.
I have tried clean re-install of Nvidia drivers.
I really hope you are able to help

System specs:

Intel i5 4570 3.2GHz with stock fan
Asus B85M-G Motherboard
Asus GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II
16gb (2x8GB) Kingston 1333 MHz RAM
550W Seasonic XFX 80+bronze PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate

Thanks for reading an replying!

Regards Pullitz

Thanks for the reply. How do test the AMPs on the 12V rail?
I have an identical thread on TechSupportForum and have received the same suggestion there. Furthermore, browsing different forums for related threads seems to further back up that it might very possibly be a PSU issue.
I'll contact the store and ask them why they put an inferior PSU in the build and demand a min 600W replacement.

If you bought the PC as a bundle then you should be able to do that :) Just bring up the issue in store and see what they say :) Also make sure you get a good 600W PSU, 80+ Bronze or better, don't let them give you a shoddy 600W PSU that only really gives 450W
